About me
Melissa Lander is an experienced learning consultant with a strong commitment to equity in education. She currently serves as the consultant for the Resource Bank at Sask DLC, bringing a particular interest in structured literacy and numeracy to her work. Melissa was recently appointed to the Multitype Library Board, where she contributes to provincial conversations about collaboration and resource access. Throughout her career, she has served as a consultant in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, as well as a principal, classroom teacher, reading specialist, continuous improvement coach and gifted education advocate.
Her diverse experiences reflect her dedication to fostering inclusive learning environments that support learners of all ages. Outside of her professional pursuits, Melissa values spending quality time with her family, which fuels her commitment to creating equitable educational opportunities for future generations.
